Montepo–Vadò turn-off

Direct access to the ring road, making it easy to use the motorway network, the main Northern Italian traffic routes and the tunnels to abroad, makes Montepo a highly interesting location from a logistics point of view.

To add to the existing access routes (the tecnopolo is located close to the A6-A21 motorway intersection on the southern ring-road of Turin) a series of works have been performed in the area: the opening of the spur of the Vadò area on the southern ring-road, the doubling of a section of state road 393, the widening of access points to the area by means of two roundabouts, and the doubling of the railway bridge over the Turin-Savona and Turin-Genoa lines.

The tecnopolo can therefore be seen as a complex project determining the development of the area along two lines: creating an industrial district for production plants and providing them with all the infrastructures required to encourage to a maximum the speed of access.A systematic plan of works which will be completed with the building of the by-pass to the state road 29 (the completion of which is forecast by the end of 2004), which will feed straight onto the large roundabout connecting the area with the spur of the ring road.
